Oh come on, where are all the independent music magazines? Not that these are necessarily bad places to get music news, but I think you forgot about one crucial resource here: Stereogum, a longtime independent music news source, which is better (in my opinion) than every site listed here. It’s been my go-to for years.
Also, the up-and-coming outlet Extra Chill, not so much a traditional news outlet but more of a journalistic magazine. Still a great resource for anybody interested in the music industry, and some people are calling it the “next Stereogum”.
Independent media is the future of the music industry.
