A new playlist and song pitching tool called Groover is similar to Submithub, but is it legitimate? What outcomes do artists achieve? Everything is covered in this comprehensive assessment.

What does Groover do?

Groover is a platform for music submissions that lives up to its name by helping musicians get their work noticed and shared by curators.

An organization called Groover helps musicians get their songs heard. Groover connects musicians wishing to promote their music with the best music curators, radio stations, and record labels that are on the lookout for new artists. Now, musicians can send their music directly to blogs, radios, playlist curators, record labels, and business people of their choice and be guaranteed a response as well as typically getting coverage.

How to send a song to Groover and what to anticipate during the submission process

A simple user interface that will walk you through configuring the platform is the first thing you can expect. Your name, role, the genre of the artist you are, and other details will be added to your profile as you are directed through a few screens.

You can send in a song once you've finished those procedures. Additionally, the process for submitting music is not particularly difficult. However, the wait time is frequently highly long.

What Are Some Of The Conversations Going Around About Groover

Groover is a decently reliable platform for connecting content creators and artists. It also offers a fair way for these music reviewers  to get compensated for their labor. Artists report it is easy to communicate with the platform's employees. Music reviewers report that it is easy to cash out and get paid on the platform.

Is the platform available globally, or are the Groover influencers, who can be contacted through the network, restricted to a few countries or regions? Which genres suit Groover the best?

The Groover platform can absolutely be accessed from anywhere in the world! They initially focused on creating a solid network in France. Now, more than 65% of the reachable connections are situated abroad, including in Australia, Belgium, Canada, the United Kingdom, Brazil, Italy, and the United States of America. Those are the parts of Groover where activity is now at its peak.

What Artists Should Do And Shouldn't Do While Utilizing Groover To Connect With Influencers?

If you want your campaign on Groover to be successful, keep the following in mind:

Add a profile photo, a description of who you are, and connections to your social media sites to finish off your profile. It nearly always makes a better first impression.

Describe what you are currently looking for in the brief pitch for your track.

Decide who you will contact after giving it some thought to ensure you obtain the most significant outcomes. After entering the data for your track, you can do this by using the filters, which include Genres, Types, and Countries.

Try to connect with at least 20 powerful people and more if you can! An analysis shows that the most effective Groover campaigns were sent to more than 25–30 contacts. The document we have provided explains this discovery in more depth. As a result, you will comprehend the platform's value much better.

The downsides of Groover?

Groover is similar to Submithub. It is a manual music submission process and the platform creates a more seamless route for influencers to get paid and artists to send their music in a way where they are guaranteed feedback.

However, these methods take time and energy.

Having to manually select which curators you want your music to send to is often not the best option. Services like Omari MC do the playlist pitching for you! All you have to do is pay one fee rather than submitting a separate fee to each individual curator.

This saves both time, energy, and often money!

Options like Groover and Submithub are not necessarily bad in and of themselves, but they are not the most efficient way to get your music heard.

Why not just pay one fee and have an experienced company that’s work with 20,000+ paid campaigns do all the hard work for you? Artists these days are tasked with becoming both the marketer and creator of their music. While it’s great if you can do both, many artists just want to make more music!

Omari MC offers that type of well-crafted, full-scale approach to marketing for artists that Groover does not.

But by all means, we invite you to try out both and see which one you like best!

**A Musician’s Heartbreak: My Experience with Groover**

As an independent musician, I pour my heart and soul into my music. Every note, every lyric, every production choice is a piece of my life—my struggles, my triumphs, my emotions. I turned to Groover, hoping it would be a platform where real curators and industry professionals would appreciate and share that passion. What I found instead was disillusionment, frustration, and a complete lack of integrity from both the curators and the company behind it.

At first, I was excited. The promise of direct connections with playlist curators, bloggers, and music professionals sounded like a dream. I carefully selected curators who, according to their profiles, aligned with my genre and style. I spent money—money that independent artists don’t just have lying around—to get my music in front of these so-called professionals. But what I received in return was nothing short of infuriating.

Many curators outright ignored my submissions, despite being paid to review them. Others responded with blatant lies—claiming my links were broken when the exact same links worked perfectly for thousands of YouTube viewers. Some listed themselves as accepting my genre, only to reject my music with an excuse that they “don’t actually work with this style.”

I could have forgiven a few disappointments if the company itself cared. But when I reached out to Groover’s team, explaining the dishonesty, the lack of accountability, and the fact that I had spent real money to be met with falsehoods, I was met with silence. I gave them a chance to rectify the situation. I wanted to believe they would hold their curators accountable. But they didn’t care. They simply took my money and allowed these fraudulent curators to continue misleading artists.

Music is personal. It’s vulnerable. When we share it, we’re opening ourselves up in ways most people will never understand. To have a platform exploit that vulnerability, to see our music treated as nothing more than a transaction, is heartbreaking.

Groover isn’t a tool for independent artists—it’s a business that profits off our dreams while doing nothing to ensure fairness or honesty. If you’re an artist considering Groover, save your money. Invest in real connections, in platforms that value artistry, not just cash.

We deserve better. And Groover? You should be ashamed.

could a song be promoted as a political rock song and be promoted in different areas meaning hard rock/blues as well as sent to political organizations as well (democratic convention)?

KID TRAVIS (R&B, POP)

With an already buzzing YouTube audience of over 400K+ subscribers, Kid Travis wanted his Instagram profile to start gaining some of that same traction.

While you can get some spill over audience from YouTube, Kid Travis knew that Instagram ad campaigns could boost his presence on IG even further!

He discovered that trying to run Instagram ads yourself vs. having us add our years of experience and expertise to them made a huge difference!

His main goal was to achieve new followers who are seriously interested in his journey as an artist.

Kid Travis already had amazing talent but needed to combine his music genius with some marketing expertise to get the best of both worlds.

We were able to bring out the heart of his music through paid ads by editing & optimizing his existing videos and properly researching and structuring his ad campaigns.

The end results: We were able to consistently and predictably gain followers averaging between $0.25-$0.35 per follower (including a bulk of the promotion being done in high cost English speaking countries such as United States, United Kingdom, Australia, & Canada) resulting in around 4,000 new, engaged followers/month on Instagram.
