It can be incredibly hard for artists to find legitimate services to boost your Apple Music plays and streams. Apple Music artist promotion is an important part of your marketing. As we all know, building a fanbase is challenging and takes some dedicated effort. Apple Music is a hugely popular music streaming service, and if you're not already on there, now is a good time to do it.
To be honest, normally when we write review articles we have a number of companies to choose from, but with Apple Music promotion it is much harder to perform as a service.
The amount of logistics and planning you have to have to perform the service is much more complex than a simple Spotify playlisting operation.
We'll take a look into some common questions we hear about Apple Music Promotion to help you decide if it's right for you.
The biggest difference between Spotify & Apple Music promotion is that Apple Music has higher payouts per stream.
Pop the numbers into a good music streaming royalty calculator and you'll find Spotify typically pays out $4.37 for 1,000 streams whereas Apple Music pays out $7.35 for 1,000 streams.
Also, gaining popularity on Apple Music can be a strong talking point if you’re trying to get signed to a label because it is a more difficult platform to gain fans on.
There are a limited number of ways to know how popular a playlist is on Apple Music. In fact, if you are not placed on official or tastemaker playlists (Apple Music, Filtr, Digster, Topsify or lists owned by major labels), Apple Music for Artists will not tell you which playlists you were placed on.
The only way to know is using third party playlist tracking services.
The best way to get traffic to your Apple Music songs is through Facebook/Instagram ads. We've run MILLIONS of dollars in ads in the music business and know how to set them up the best way.
Even if you've tried running ads by yourself, chances are there's still something you can learn about optimization. What a lot of people do is get our management services for at least a month or two to see how exactly us running the ads is different, then you can take all the strategies we use and apply them to your ads going forward.
You can see examples of previous campaigns and get our ads management services in the button below.
The only way to know how many listeners you have on Apple Music is through https://artists.apple.com/. You will need to set up your own account there to see detailed stats.
Unfortunately Apple Music doesn't tell you which lists are playing your song like Spotify does.
The best thing to do is to look at your overall stats before getting added to the playlists vs. after you've been added. This will give you a general range of the effectiveness of the promotion.
For location based targeting, we recommend our Facebook & IG ads management. Oftentimes, we're able to send traffic directly from the ads to a smartlink that has Spotify, Apple Music & YouTube links in it.
This way, the user can choose which platform they listen on the most, and artists can see a nice boost in their Apple Music listens.
Apple Music promotion is no walk in the park. They have about 1/5th the userbase that Spotify has, but that's still 75 million+ people!
We recommend reserving 10% of your music marketing budget towards testing promotion on platforms like Apple Music & TikTok.
Your main promo dollars should still be going to Facebook & IG ads, YouTube, and Spotify promotion efforts as well as your website!

Hi,
For some reason I can’t login from your Playlist IQ link – the login shows an error even though the login name and password are correct.
Also, please let me know what you charge for Apple Promotion for singles.
Thanks,
Milin
I would like to start IG/FB service on the 1st of the month but the only issue is I cant get in contact with you guys , a reply would be sweet, so I can know for sure I will start the campaign.
Hello Omari, You have been an amazing support to get my music going on Spotify and it has been so successful given that I have only just released my first songs two years ago and have no label backing. It would be fantastic to get help with Apple Music because that has been a tougher market to break into. Would love to speak with you further! Stella
Hi, I would like to have an Apple Music promotion for my song Alive.
Many thanks!

Music UnLtd.
Hi Phil. Our Apple Music promotion is now done through Facebook & Instagram ads management. We no longer do Apple Music playlisting as their analytics do not provide enough data to do any suitable job.
Where is the pricing options for Apple Music Promotion?!
I couldn’t find it.
